Just de-lurking to ask what you guys think will happen along the EC with the cold air arriving (VA,NC,SC,GA)? I'm ready for some cold air (snow). It seems strange to have a January day at 65 degrees or so like it was on Sunday. It is slowly cooling now though. Although I am enjoying a nice reasonable electric bill since my heat hasn't had to run much other than occasionally at night.

Starting to get interesting, in fact NWS Charlotte has introduced a snow mix for Saturday night! They mentioned at or below temps through the extended with a possible system Tuesday, then models are showing a closed upper low over the Delta Wed into Thurs, which they said thankfully is just out of mediun range-meaning they have time to look at it later. Models are crazy but seem to be coming in line. They have not had much cold air scenario to work with so far, they need to adjust for it.
