I drove in a parade yesterday afternoon....top down on the convertible, windows down and the heater blowing full force on my feet!!!!!!!

Last night was a different story...i was so bundled up i looked like the pillsbury doughboy! But we caught lots and lots of beads...even some from actor John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzard & Smallville) but i don't remember which ones!

Just got back from the parade in Thibodaux. Cloudy and cold. Went with my cousin and her 3 kids. Ages 7, 3, and 2. Kids were cranky due to no nap. And the cold made them complain even more. I still had fun. Caught a lot of neat stuff for the kids. Got them tons of stuffed animals.

I went to the four parades on Saturday in NOLA...that lasted all of an hour and 15 minutes. We had expected to be there from noon to at least 6:00 pm. After the last parade shot by people just wandered around bewildered, wondering what to do next.

Also caught Caesar in Metarie Saturday night and a couple more in NOLA on Sunday (Carollton and I forget the other).

Overall: fun, smaller crowds, faster parades. And I got lots of stuffs :D

Nah, just another parade. :) We made off with five giant bags of beads and other junk from that one. Two thumbs up!
