GRLEVEL 3 Images From Tonight's Tornadic Cells in Missouri

I got some images from my radar tonight as I was tracking the tornadic cells moving through Missouri. The following are from Branson and Springfield.

Umm...Hybrid...you mean hook echoes? Because bow echoes are shaped more like a bow (hence the name) and produce damaging winds. Those are classic hook echoes.

Someone got it bad... :eek: ......I think bow echoes produce straight line winds which in some instances mimic a tornado.....

The storm that tracked just south of Springfield was rated an F3.

Bow echoes are usually the entire line of storms forming a huge bow basically. The hook echo is a signature to a very severe thunderstorm when its in the process of forming tornadoes.

That last one has a nice hook in it just to the SE of warrensburg.

I saved them on my computer for my storm data bank, becuz I was in IN during the time of these storms.
