All I can say is Interesting. I have noted that the ITCZ has been quite active pretty much all Winter though. I think we'll definitely see the conveyor belt effect with TCs at least once this year.

If that was all 10º further north I would be watching it much more closely. I hope that what seemed to be a more active than normal ITCZ over the winter months is not a harbinger of thidngs to come!!!
