Hurricane specials on Discovery channel right now
Discovery (it may be the learning channel.. i mix the two up LOL) is showing a hurricane special right now on Katrina. A hypothetical show was just on about Hong Kong getting hit by a super typhoon. I am sure it will be back on later again tonight as they tend to repeat shows in the evening. Just a heads up for any interested

I no longer have cable, but it's probably Discovery.

that show with hong kong being hit is one of the most in-accurate hurricane shows I have ever seen. It is so completely fake! I loved how winds were suppose to be 200mph and yet they show video of some 40mph wind gusts hitting trees. Also, how would that guy have managed to stay in that skyscraper (un-injured) after all those windows blew out and he was being blown around? Next time they need to work on making their shows a little more realistic. There is a huge difference between a TS and a Cat. 5; obviously they don't know what that difference is.

I have neither btw. I get along with dial-up and radio.

Well we just bought satellite that had a lot of Chinese channels, but no American satellite.
I personally don't watch anything but Discovery, Nat'l Geographic, and Nick. So it's not a big sacrifice. Especially once I get into my upper classman year of HS.
