Dancing

#1 Postby Janice » Mon May 15, 2006 4:38 pm

If you get out on the dance floor, what dance do you feel the most confident doing? What are you really mean about.....

Me... I can do a mean swing. Anything else, I usually pass up. The twist was fun.

How about the head bobble. Does that count? I cannot dance either, but put a few drinks in me and I think I can.

I LOVED disco when it came out. I love to dance, period, but that was a fun time.

I'll dance to anything that has a good beat to it. I also like the Macarena and Electric Slide.

The bunny hop. I love to dance, but I am a little shy. But, I always get on the dance floor once I have a couple of drinks in me, then I really don't care what others think.

When I get out on the dance floor, contra dance and square dance, with some clogging on the side, is what I do. Really anything that allows me to listen to live Old-Time music (that's where my name, Old-TimeCane comes from). I'm usually fairly shy in person, but get me on the dance floor, and I'm anything but...

Electric slide, hustle, macarena, conga line, bunny hop, hand jive, and the twist (wedding receptions are fun for all of those!). I took swing and tango lessons but it's been a couple of years. No moshing or slam-dancing, thank ya very much.

And come on...who can't do Y.M.C.A.?
