Pets With Oddities

#1 Postby Janice » Fri Jun 02, 2006 4:50 pm

Did or do you have a pet with some sort of oddity?

Everyone knows I love cats and we have an outside cat that is a minx, no tail. She has had cats with long tails and absolutely no tail.

We have the last litter with one with a half tail. It looks like a firecracker went off

I will take a pick when she is at a good angle.

I don't have a pet with any oddity. I think my yorkie Chloe is just perfect. But, my cousin owns a pug. She was believed be a female and they named her Sasha. Last week, they took her to the vet to get spayed. Well, when they went to cut her open, she had testicles! The vet said she is half male/half female. Very rare in animals. She is hormonally a male, but in every other way she is a female.

We adopted two cats from the local shelter. They are brothers, and one of them has half a tail.

Both are odd. Does that count?

My persian cat Jeanie gobbles like a turkey when she scratches behind her ears!

One of my cats is always following me. When I'm sleeping, she lying on top of me, also sleeping. When I'm having a bath, she's sitting in front of the bath, when I go to the toilet, she's waiting for me just outside the toilet, etc, etc. It sometimes creeps me out though, but at least I'll never be alone.

I have a cat with 31 toes. Cats are supposed to have 18 toes. The extras are mostly on the front feet, which look like catcher's mitts.
