Tennis Anyone?

#1 Postby Janice » Wed Jun 14, 2006 6:55 pm

That's Andre Agassi and Roger Federer playing on a tennis court at a hotel in Dubai by Saudi Arabia -
These pictures are amazing, especially the last one. My guess is that they don't chase the balls.

Rather them than me. Dubai really does have too much money...the palm Islands amd the world Islands that they built are fantastic.

And don't forget the Burj Dubai project.

It doesn't really look like the safest place to play a game of tennis. Trip once and you'll fall of the 309 meter high hotel.

They're pretty high up to have a ball go volleying off the side. Wouldn't that ball possibly kill someone falling from that height?

You would have to be nuts to just be up there....

I cannot take heights like that, out in the open.

There is really nothing to catch them if they fell back and over...

Not much space around the court especially if it is 309 metres high.

They probably just don't let any Joe up there. These guys can play some serious tennis. I bet not many balls go over, they are too good of players.
I think that is just awesome, I would go up there for the view, but no way to play tennis, I would be afraid to chase any ball to hit it. I see they do have catch nets along the side but can you imagine falling in one of those.
