Lightning strike kills Russian soccer player

MOSCOW, Russia (Reuters) - Lightning killed a Russian soccer player during a local match, Interfax news agency reported on Monday.

"One footballer died on the spot. Another was clinically dead, but is now alive," it quoted the local emergencies ministry as saying.

Really unfortunate. It sucks when stuff like this happens, but it's natural and there's really nothing to stop it(other than maybe playing indoors or postponing the game..).
