All GOMERS should now watch how far Claudette will move more NNW in the GOM because more north it moves more gulf coast real estate will be under the gun but if it begins to move more west then it will be MEX/ South Texas problem.
Also if it moves farther north will the trough pick it up ?Time will tell but it will be a very important day for all GOMERS to follow all of this.
Watch that NNW track all GOMERS

Beautiful sat.picture of Claudette this AM.

Have to say I am leaning more and more toward a N.Gulf event. And if the E. trough has anything to say about it maybe a bit more E than what the models are even saying this AM. If she starts to pick up forward speed again the trough may be more of an influence than what most people are thinking! Time will certainly tell.

Indeed a heatlthier looking Claudette in that loop. I too am leaning towards a more Northerly event than the current models are showing, but her forward speed has slowed once again so I do not expect the trough to be the player this time. Further speed reduction is progged and in fact she could be in an almost stall over the tip of the Yucatan.
Indeed my eyes and all eyes along the N and NW GOM should be following TS Claudette like a hawk!!!! Mine sure are!!! :o :o :o :o

Call it a gut feeling, intuition or whatever you want, I am STILL thinking that she is going to surprise us all once again before all is said and done. I am sticking to my original thoughts of a more Northerly movement before the turn NW, her current path will stick around longer than predicted and I say a TX/LA landfall as a cat 2............... :?
Absolutely NOTHING she does at this point would surprise me! :o
