Charleston, SC WFO just issued their Summer 2006 "Storm Courier" newsletter and confirmed a much higher than normal average of severe weather and tornado reports ...

Just in the CHS WFO CWA alone, a confirmed 20 tornadoes have been reported and documented just in the region alone... more can be found here at this link below ...

Interesting. It has definitely been a rough severe weather year. I wonder how the rest of the year will pan out. I remember July 2004 was a horrible month for severe weather in the Southeast.
