SST 0f 94.7F South of LA

I know it was light winds and in the middle of the day, but 94.7 is 94.7

Yea...I spoke with a crew boat captain yesterday and he told me all the water just south of LA is in the 90's.

That is really warm! Is that usual temp for August or September, instead of July? Or is it higher than normal for any time of the year?

Higher than normal for anytime...it is also near the Shore and thus kind of shallow...

Yes, it's a little high for July, but we always have temps in the 90's come August and September in that location because of what drezee said....it's shallow there.
