Library Internet servers slowing down

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Sat Jul 29, 2006 11:29 am

It seems that the internet servers at the central Irving Public Library went from superfast to dial-up quality, because before Noon, when I'm listening to my online station, the audio seizes up every 30 to 60 seconds and the pages take 5 minutes to load. I asked the librarians to see if they can fix the problem, but they said there's nothing they can do about it because they're sharing the internet servers with Irving City Hall, that and the Wi-fi hot spot they recently installed slows down the connection even more.

If I was a millionaire, I would've bought them individual servers so they wouldn't have to suffer the same problem every day.

Is the library where you post from all the time? If so, i thought you were limited on the amount of time you can spend on the computer.
