Buoy 41002 in the convection last hour reported a 23kt sustained wind and a 31kt wind gust.

It seemed like (I can't remember exactly) that it took Jeanne 2 weeks before she decided to go for a landfall....just looped out there for a long time!

Well, this sure happened fast, and model runs are definately not in agreement. I wonder if this is going to be one of those systems that stays in the same general area for a while.
