ohh yea... it was just a few miles away from us... preety cool and scary at the same time...

then, in 1984 and 1985 came hurricanes diana and gloria... both of them moving towards the north carolina coast and threatening virginia... all the hype and news coverage of it just hooked me then.... just hate it took so long before i decided to do something about all of it....

I guess I look at it from another angle: They write an article about weather Web sites that track Chris, and S2K isn't even mentioned once? And I don't understand the PBP having to throw that bit in there about how much more traffic it got than SkeetoBiteWeather -- of course it got many times more traffic. Still, a pretty good article, and it's nice to see some members here getting recognition.

LOL - the guy was wrong with the traffic stats. We get 1.8 million PEOPLE, not page views per week. The page views are about 8 to 10 million during an active storm where landfall is a sure thing.

We get about 16,000 new people per minute when we're featured on the home page of the drudge report.

Edit: BTW - I did plug S2K. Don't know why he didn't mention it though...
Thanks all for the comments. We're real close to launching the new stuff.
