I have some questions.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I have some questions.

With all this shear and dry and air does it look more like a October/November period where nothing forms? When will the shear end (know it is August, but it seems that anything trying to form is getting ripped or decapitated)? Are now seeing storms form and develop a little bit then get sheared apart? I am just wondering.

I don't think anyone knows for sure if/when the shear will relax.

My amateur guess would be to follow climatology and exect the season to pickup towards late August/September/early October.
