Ernesto Model Error Report (hold your nose)

#1 Postby Scott_inVA » Fri Sep 01, 2006 10:15 pm

This unofficial forecast and model error report is from the Premium side of the web site. However, the Final Advisory has been issued and the results are in: this TC was not well handled by *any* model, or TPC/NHC....with the exception of the (gulp) GFS. At 48 hours, even the Big Three consensus models I run (CONU, GUNA, GUNS) were underperforming. and you don't want to see the intensity errors. This truly was one of the most confounding TCs I've seen in a good while.

I'll leave this up for a couple days in the event anyone wants to save for future reference.
