Severe weather? High Plains to Gulf Coast

It seems the SPC has gone pretty bold for Thursday, with a 30% for a very large area. While they don't make too much mention beyond that at this point, and the call is difficult, it seems there is a solid possibility of severe weather in the South and perhaps even into the Ohio Valley

10% tornado for eastern Oklahoma and northeastern Texas.

I wrote this off - and 20 tornado reports in Kansas (although they seem to be all weak)...
