Unlocking your car with a cellphone or tennis ball

#1 Postby MississippiHurricane » Mon Mar 19, 2007 2:42 am

I first heard about these stories on a Mitsubishi Galant forum.
Cell phone: http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/b ... k_door.htm or see the video of it: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/360156/un ... ell_phone/
Tennis ball: http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=21882

It makes me happy, but worried about criminals who see this. I dont think the tennis ball will work on non-power locks.

I doubt either of these is true. It would be very easy to fake by having someone behind the camera use the remote at the right moment.
