America's Most Wanted (CAPTURED)

I cannot believe this one was caught right here in my hometown.

Fugitive from Chicago arrested in Pascagoula
Thursday, March 22, 2007
From Staff Reports
PASCAGOULA -- A fugitive from Chicago featured on the television program America's Most Wanted was arrested Tuesday evening at a gas station along U.S. 90.

Special Agent Jason Pack said FBI agents in Chicago and Mississippi, aided by the Pascagoula and Chicago police departments, arrested Larry Carter Beasley, 36, of Chicago about 6 p.m. without incident.

Lt. Paul Leonard with the Pascagoula Police Department confirmed the arrest took place at the Exxon station on 1600 Denny Ave.

Beasley was wanted by Chicago authorities for a May 20 attempted first degree murder.

He is currently being held at the Pascagoula City Jail awaiting extradition. Pack said law enforcement from Chicago were on their way Wednesday to pick Beasley up.

Pack said Beasley allegedly attacked his girlfriend and stabbed her at least 13 times while she held one of their six-week-old twin daughters, who was seriously injured by one of the stabs.

The girlfriend's mother then came to her daughter's aid, and Beasley allegedly attacked her and stabbed her three times. All three victims recovered from the attacks.

Beasley fled that night and had not been seen since. A federal judge in Chicago issued a warrant for Beasley's arrest on May 31, charging him with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution

Pack said Beasley had been living in Pascagoula for a few weeks before his arrest.

"He was working as a door-to-door salesman for a Texas company," Pack said.

He is also listed on the Illinois Sex Offender Registry as a non-compliant sex offender for failure to maintain accurate registration records as required by law.

Thank God they found him!

That show has made such a difference! I still remember when his son, Adam was missing and then found murdered.

Thumbs up to John Walsh for creating "America's Most Wanted".

Hope Larry Beasley gets a punishment to the fullest extent.
