Might as well be a lawnmower with 4 seats
The good thing is more people could own cars.

From what I have read, it will not be available here, only in countries where small cars are the norm.

I would take one in a heartbeat. I am three blocks from the ocean and one block from the shopping mall. This little car would do just fine. We are planning to buy a golf cart which holds four people this winter for when company comes for play. They are really popular here. A used, gas one of course.

Most likely it seems. would be great on gas though. The Volkswagon Jetta Turbo diesel (my second favorite car company, ja)gets 45 Miles Per Gallon even when your on the gas pedel hard. I would love to own a jetta turbo diesel if only for the power.

My wife has a 2005 Passat TDI, and it's awesome. ~40 mpg in summer with the AC full blast, and ~45 mpg in winter. And she has a lead foot, just like me.

I think even the Yugo is bigger than the Smart car.

i had a yugo and it was built to be a disposable car. i never had an ounce of trouble with it. it was comfortable and great on gas. even with the AC blowing in Phoenix during the summer!

i had another child, so i needed a bigger vehicle or the Yugo would still be in my driveway.

Europe is full of those wonderful Smart Cars. America will be the last one to catch on unless someone rich and famous or at least influential, makes it fashionable to drive one of these.

if they came here, i'd buy one!

I have actually seen a Smart car here in the US. I passed one about a month ago near the airport and was like "WHAT?!?We dont sell those here" The tags on it were from England.

What is a Yugo? I know what a Smart car is though. Must be a bit like when I see the Chrysler PT Cruiser someone owns round here (Never seen an uglier car, why they bought it in the first place I'll never understand!).

Do they sell the Ford Ka there? That is a pretty small car and is what I learnt to drive in. My sister has one and when it is on the drive it makes my parents Ford Focus look massive.
