Summer Storm Chasing

#1 Postby NWIASpotter » Fri May 04, 2007 1:33 am

Besides my regular storm chasing this summer I've gotten what I think is the chance of a lifetime. I was offered to join Tim Samaras during the month of June to storm chase throughout the plains in help with the tornado research that he is doing. I've done an interview at a local station about the chance and have posted the transcript/audio of the interview. You can learn more about the chance there, as well as all the plans for the month:

Well if you want pics, be sure to bookmark my blog for the month of June. I'll be putting updates on there as often as possible, likely as we are driving in the morning hours to our next target.

I've always wanted to tag along with some of these guys and learn the ropes. Expect some jealousy from this direction. :D
