So far, with this very wet last 7 days, rainfall for July has ballooned to a robust 9.35" this month (and over 50% of the monthly tally coming in the last 6 days) and a yearly total of 41.90" ...
This is a doppler-radar estimated rainfall running 6 day tally from the CHS WFO (which includes the 6"+ that hit portions of Savannah, GA on the 24th) ... note the hardest hit areas stretch from a band in Southern GA extending through Savannah, and another large pocket of heavy rainfalls in GA. In South Carolina, the Coastal Counties were the hardest hit stretching from 25-50 miles inland to the coast ... Dorchester, and particularly Berkeley and NE Charleston Counties were inundated with estimated 10"+ of rain (purple spots)
