mIRC

#1 Postby AnnularCane » Sun May 20, 2007 10:57 pm

I just downloaded mIRC for 30 days, but I'm not sure what to do with it. I tried getting into chat, but it still uses Java. I feel kind of stupid.

If you want to get into chat using mIRC, don't click on the chatroom link at the top of the forum. You probably have a mIRC icon on your desktop. You'll enter chat using that.

irc.stormdancing.net
port 6667
/join #storm2k

You need to type: "/join #storm2k" but without the " " to get to the room. You need to be in the Stormdancing server. I'll head in there now. If you need more help, come in through Java and I'll help you.

I can't come in through Java. :( I found Stormdancing, but I don't know where I'm supposed to type all that other stuff in.

Click file>select server>servers>add
Then where a box should popup. In the IRC server box type irc.stormdancing.net. In the box under that where it says port type 6667. Leave the group and password boxes blank. Then Click ok.
