Something maybe wrong with the sun?

I know I maybe throwing up a freak flag, but this pic of the sun today looks like it has huge dark areas over large parts of our sun. Maybe something is going wrong with our sun.

Hopefully this is a bad image. I will keep you all updated.

I will give it 24 hours to see if this is a bad frame. If not then I can't say.

Nothing is wrong with the sun. If there was something wrong, scientists would already be all over it.

that would be scary if something suddenly went wrong like that. However, I think all is probably fine with the sun right now.

Those dark blotches go by the generic name of clouds.

Thanks Aslkahuna, I thought this was taken from Space with the obiter that is between earth and the Sun.

No, the H-Alpha images on theSEC site are from the MLSO (Mauna Loa Solar Observatory). The Satellite imagery is generally not H-Alpha. The GOES X-Ray imagers have croaked and SEC doesn't post the SOHO or STEREO imagery (at least not as of yet).
