HMM>> Just Looking

#1 Postby Aric Dunn » Sat Jul 07, 2007 9:20 pm

there is a interesting feature im sure you all have seen .. over mississippi heading SE ..

if some way it were to make it off shore it would be something to watch..
http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/se/loop-rgb.html

so there is no need to for the typical "it wont do anything" or the "even If" statements because i said "IF" it could some way get offshore and stay there then it would be something to watch..

so please no need for the "no chance" or anything like that :) it just purely a "IF" ...

anyway back to the LOW .. "if it were to get offshore in the gulf the shear is low and conditions appear to at least marginally favorable .. yeah so just watching it..

:)

the funny thing is ... is that it should be heading ene or E not SE .. so that is the only reason i really mentioned it..

and im bored//

Hah, we're all bored, Aric. Yeah I noticed it. About a 1% chance of development, which is good enough for me. I'll watch it.

Hmmm... it sure is heading south pretty quickly. That's pretty cool. Has there ever been a storm from from something like this?

Well... it might be possible if it moves into the gulf and the trough leaves it behind. Looks like a mid to upper level disturbance.

http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/tropic/real-time/atlantic/winds/wg8vor2.html

Looks like it's going to head east and out to sea...

Maybe and if...

I gotta say this low is looking impressive! Is this really JULY. Might have a chance to become extra-tropical later?
