Inverted-V shape

Can someone please describe (with a picture hopefully) what to look for to spot an "inverted-V shape"? I see that a lot on the NHC discussions and would love to spot them.

Here's a slide-show of the characteristics of a tropical wave, including the inverted-v shape. There was a whole thread about this not too long ago, but I can't find it.

Whoa! That wave is huge, isn't it? The conceptual drawing, slide 2 -- South America to north of Bahamas?

I didn't look at it, but if it's that big, it's about the same size of the one that spawned Franklin and Gert a few years ago. So I guess it's not that uncommon.

Here is a classic Inverted-V shape from the wave that is in the Central Atlantic right now. Sometimes is not easy to identfy the V shape, but in this case is very clear.

TROPICAL WAVE IS FROM 19N41W TO 6N43W MOVING W 15-20 KT. BROAD
LOW LEVEL INVERTED-V SIGNATURE IS OBSERVED ON SATELLITE IMAGERY.
SCATTERED MODERATE ISOLATED STRONG CONVECTION IS FROM 11N-14N
BETWEEN 41W-44W WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS EMBEDDED WITHIN THE ITCZ.
