prayers, please

#1 Postby alicia-w » Tue Jul 24, 2007 8:08 am

if you can find time in your day for such things, please say a prayer for our family. Our oldest daughter and her two young children have been reported missing. her boyfriend has a long history of domestic violence and other felonious crimes. we're hoping for the best and expecting the worst. thanks.

Oh my goodness, Alice. I can't imagine what you are going thru right now. Mega prayers being said for your daughter and her children to find their way back to you safe and unharmed. Is this the daughter that lives in louisiana?

Many, many prayers to you all!! Hopefully they had cell phones and can possibly be traced that way!! The world is such a beautiful place, it makes it very difficult to comprehend the ugly side of mankind.

Try to stay positive and keep the faith. I'm sure that all of your friends here at S2K will be praying for you and your family.

Credit cards are also a good way to track them...did either of the adults have credit cards?

the scum lives here in a suburb of albuquerque. here's what i know and what i've done so far...

her mother called last night, said that she had moved a bunch of their stuff into her place and then all of a sudden, she vanished. Didnt show up to work, the kids werent at school (day-care). It's like she just disappeared. She isnt "allowed" to have a phone. God forbid, she might have contact with someone else. I did find that she had acquired a new alcohol server license in the past week and I dug into the county property tax records to get an address (since none of us had that either...). I gave the police the address today. They sent several officers there and that's where she was with the kids. She called her mom, her mom called me. I guess she's furious for her mom calling the police because now "she's really gonna get it". This idiot beats her up for something to do, makes her kids sleep on a couch in the garage, and turns it around on her so she thinks it's her fault. I'm at my wit's end. But at least she isnt in a shallow grave in the desert, though perhaps only one or two steps removed from that fate....

thanks for the words of encouragement and kind thoughts. i appreciate it.

Glad to hear at least they are alive. Is it your daughter? I hope she can get some help to get out of her situation...sounds like he has her brainwashed, which is what jerks (this is a family board, can't say what I really think of people like him) like him do.

she's been with this guy since she was 17; she's now 28. she wasnt raised to have this view of relationships, so i cant even imagine what's going on in her brain.
