Hmmm... SE bahamas

#1 Postby Aric Dunn » Sat Aug 11, 2007 6:22 pm

I dont really want to talk about something else but i figure i will separate the carribean system from this. Im not even sure about it but what the hey. Anyway the CMC has been trying to develop something on the east side of that upper low moving over Southern Fl! So the only reason i mention it is because although im not sure about it! there is a lot of convection for the second day in a row and has been firing in the SE bahamas. mostly its just enhancement from the upper low but it is a lot of convection this evening again so if you want to comment on it go ahead, Im not saying there is anything there but a bunch of convection!

pressure aren't too high and its in a fairly interesting upper environment (i have seen systems get going in places like this).
So the thread is here if need be!

I saw this. I think the CMC is just trying to develop a TC out of the same mess that really covers much of the Carribean. As usual, it's most likely wrong.

yeah .. most likely.. but its interesting none the less all convection needs to be look at... although the vort maps show more vorticity in this area than anywhere else

but yeah im just watching none the less.. i really was not going to say anything till all the convection started to fire again

I know you are talking about the track of frances and not the overall season but looking at the fact that frances was the 6th named storm and the 4th hurricane helps me appreciate that this will not be a 2004 like pattern(like some were saying early on in the season) seeing how we havent even had a hurricane yet although I guess we can play catch up real fast lol.

Aside from the craziness of the CMC, I agree though, it is still interesting and anything that is showing persistence is worth watching this time of year.......especially something close to home.
