Silly Forecast - Not to be taken seriously

#1 Postby Acral » Mon Aug 13, 2007 4:11 pm

I have seen some whoppers concerning TD4, and so, decided to have some fun.

TD4 Will become hurricane Dean on fairly short order and continue lurching west across the Atlantic. Russian scientists will attempt to seed the storm, however, the materials they use will fail and fall to the floor of the Atlantic. These materials will serve as a catalyst with deep water thermal pockets, resulting in massive hot gas bursts from the ocean floor.

The SST's will raise expoentially due to this, creating surface water temperatures of around 1000 Kelvin. This will cause Dean to become a Hypercane, spinning off Catagory Four and Five Hurricanes as part of the rain bands (now hyperbands).

The Red Spot on Jupiter will become jealous as it will no longer be the only hypercane in the solar system. So it will pack it's bags and nod to Europa (where those quick, bright, and inquisitive little fish people live beneath the ice) and march millions upon millions of miles to Earth.

Now the Russian Cosmonauts, seeing this, will become rightfully concerned. One hypercane is bad enough, but now two? So they will fasten a warp drive out of rubber bands, twinkie wrappers, and used sleeping bags and travel to be with the quick, bright, and inquisitive little fish people on Europa.

Meanwhile, back on earth, the two hypercanes will fall in love, wipe the surface of the planet then honeymoon on Venus with their friends the sub-sonic winds. Now the bumble bees will be estatic, as they will take over the planet and close all of the Wal-Marts and McDonalds, but they will fall to the wily marketing plan of the now extinct coastal developers and start building massive hives on the beachheads across the planet.
