for their staying on top of things last night. Mike Naso and aric dunn both saw this storm strengthening around 9pm and continued to warn this could indeed become a hurricane when all the tv mets local and twc were saying it was too close to land to become a hurricane. Well mike and aric knew if the center stayed over water and bypassed galveston which it did and stayed a few hours over water it could very well become a hurricane which it definately did and not just a 74 mph one but an 85mph one 5 mph less than a cat two. With all due respect to tv mets and twc and all, I don't understand how they could have missed what was going on in real time. Sometimes you got to forget about what these storms tend to do and focus on what is actually happening and open your mind to possibilities as IPR did. Good job guys.
Thanks
