cancel texas winter?... r yall south/southeast texans joking... texas is such a wide big state... the panhandle will get much more winter weather all the way till april possibly may.. heck it snowed may 6th there last year.. and west and the big bend will see winter weather until march due to the high elevations.. and North Texas around Dallas will see snow on and off until late february.. it snowed in Fort worth on easter last year..... exept for last february the last 3 years Dallas has seen a good snow in mid to late february....and winter is not over for south or southeast texas either.. san antonio and austin should see 1 more winter weather event maybe even houston along with more blue northers for the whold state and Oklahoma for that is till late march..... now it will warm up like it is now but its warming up all thruout the plains and the country for that matter...

Well, in the newspaper here several weeks ago....they said the horses in the area have thicker coats than usual, which is a sign of a harsher winter.

We've had a few freezes, but not even a hard freeze yet. Nature seems to think we have some really cold weather in store. :P It hasn't happened yet, but we're only a little over a week into winter.

I still won't hold my breath.
