I remember a few weeks ago a bunch of folks around here were giving up on winter. Now we've had two weekends in a row of snow/ice. Last year from Sept-Dec we had very little rain. My wife said, "will it ever rain again?". It seemed that it would not. But come January, the pattern changed and we've seen a lot of rain. I have no meteorological evidence to support my hunch, but chances are I think you'll see some winter weather before it's over.

I remember a March snowstorm in Raleigh in either '78 or '79. Covered the blooming daffodils right up!

Don't give up yet. I am no weatherman but it could happen.
