I haven’t really been impressed with El Niños lately. Hopefully this one will be better.

Hope it goes better than the last one here when we got Pacific air all winter and the infamous snow holes...

Literally my worst winter here so far has been El Nino

Say what you want about La Nina but it has had a real snow every year. Like this winter technically we've had our snowfall average even if somehow nothing else happens

I’d be fine with them if we at least got some rain, but I don’t recall them even doing much of that lately. La Niñas are fun because they can produce extremes, which is my kinda weather except for extreme droughts lol

Winter is not over, it's far from over in fact, because look what is showing up on the Ensembles:

Winter 2020-2021 :cold:

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

Winter posts are focused mainly for Oklahoma & Texas.

Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information

Never say Never with weather! Because ANYTHING is possible!

If mjo goes strong into phase 2-3, that could give us one last opportunity. End of February into March typically needs alot more things to line up for us. A -epo would give us our best chance imo.

I am over all the storms east of us. Like literally there's been so much snow over there

It's definitely been the worst part of this winter and I still don't see it changing anytime soon

Can we be done with sleet and freezing rain? In Sherman, there's still sleet base on the ground on the north side of taller buildings.
