Snow pack & high temperature varient
In the low angle months for DC metro with bare gound the high will ususally occur at 3 or 4pm. When we get snow pack at the same time of year the high frequently occurs around noon or 1pm. I am assuming that with bare ground the heating builds momentum toward a late afternoon high whereas with snow pack the high tends to occur when the sun is at the highest angle, thus noonish. Am I correct or any other thoughts. DCA predicted high of mid 30's looks to not be realized, more like 30,31. Thanks

Speaking of snowpack folks, this morning I did an analysis of the snow we got from this past few days. We got 4.5 inches of snow, then a half-inch of ice from freezing drizzle and freezing rain, then another half-inch of snow last night. That half inch of snow has been blowing today!!! It looks SO SHWEET!!!!

Yeah we have a snowpack, and its still in the upper 20s!!! Come ON night!! Lets drop that temp down to about 10!!!!!
YEAH BABY, BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!
