Snowing moderately since 9:30 am in Central NJ
Took awhile for the snow to start accumulating, but it's falling heavily enough (had an initial very heavy burst for ~10 minutes with near white-out conditions) that we now have close to an inch on the ground in Metuchen (northern Middlesex Co, NJ, where the wife is - she takes measurements for me) and about 1/2" on the ground in Rahway (southern Union Co, NJ), where I work, as it started ~20 minutes later here. Temps borderline at 31-32F - hope that sleet and rain hold off. NWS-Philly has us in a 2-4" range in Middlesex County and NWS-NYC has Rahway in the 3-6" total area. Since it's mid-March, I could live with those, but would love the 6-10" amounts in the warning areas north and west. Also, good that the NWS extended the advisories to our south and east, which should make it more likely we won't completely bust on this one here. Any other reports from NJ?

Well, the snow seems to have tapered off in the last hour or two, but not before we received 5.5" of heavy, wet snow. Snow only changed to sleet for about 30 minutes around 2 pm and then went back to snow - with a vengeance - as of 2 pm, we only had about 2" on the ground, with not much on the roads, but when it went back to snow it came down heavily for 2-3 hours, such that we had about 5" on the ground by the time I got home at 5 pm. I left early to pick up my son and his friend (and the little brother and the Mom, even) and we all went sledding for about an hour, followed by a massive snowball fight - thoroughly enjoyable.
So we definitely ended up on the high side of the accumulation forecasts. The local radio met (WCTC, 1450 am from New Brunswick) really blew this one badly, only predicting an inch or less followed by rain, even as late as 8 am this morning, but the NYC radio stations did much better, as WINS (Accu-Weather) and WCBS both had the immediate NYC area, which we're essentially part of, being on the SW to NE line (25 miles SE of Central Park) that often parallels the snow-rain line, receiving 3-6" as of this morning. The TV folks from NYC, though did worse, with most of them having NYC and our area in the 1-3" range.
