We were below freezing and without electricity for several days. VERY unusual way down here....almost everything was shut down. Anyway, I just came across these pics and figured I'd scan them and post them for the heck of it.

I remember it was early January 1997 but I can't remember the exact dates. I remember this event very well as we were hit hard also, but not as bad as Beaumont and Lake Charles. I know the event started on a Sunday morning because I remember leaving church and ice had formed all over our vehicle.
