Which month do you think the Dallas/Ft. Worth area would more likely get some Winter Weather?

Winter Weather

In my opinion, I think it's gonna be December, but considering Texas Weather...

I'll go with January, but to be honest I feel like this year we could see winter weather anytime between late November to Late February. :)

I would say that you guys will probably be getting a little snow around the December or January time period.

There's no choice for "None".

I pick either the week after Christmas or some other time on a weekend. That way, I won't get to miss any work. :roll:

It's nice to see another N. Texas member in S2K.

Sorry, but things look good for a 1977-78 winter repeat for the centeral and eastern US. that means lots of COLD and WET weather for the coming season.

"February 17, 1978 The last in a series of five snow events that began in mid-January also had the greatest totals. Between 4-8 inches fell from Throckmorton to Gainesville, and north of a line through Dublin, Cleburne, Terrell, and Sulphur Springs." Including the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

1977-78 was the coldest winter (Dec-Feb) on record (104yrs) for N.Texas

Avg. Maximum Temp......49.1
Avg. Temp.....................39.5
Avg. Minimum Temp.......29.8

Chris, in general I like the winter precip. Problem is when I'm at work and the freezing rain/sleet starts falling and I have to drive on it. Not fun, as you're aware. My 4 year old would love some snow to play in and build a snowman. Hope your right.
