It's Snowing in Woodville, Texas!!

#1 Postby southerngale » Thu Dec 23, 2004 11:15 am

Ok, it's very light but it's still snowing there! Woodville is about 45 miles nnw of Beaumont and my brother just called...he's driving through Woodville. He said it's very light and might not even show up on radar, kinda like that very light drizzle or mist you get sometimes that doesn't show up. Anyway, I know it's not much, but it's a day early and I wanted to let everyone know! :)

southergale...thanks for the update!! That's pretty neat. We had drizzle last night up towards Conroe that wasn't even showing up on radar. It was 35 out and I was hoping for a flurry but never got one, I don't think. I'm hoping for the best later on. I hope you get a little.

I knew there was a possibility with the moisture available still that we might see some light flurries in SE TX. I've checked the radar on and off this am and seeing it in LA and MS gave me some hope. That will probably be it till tomorrow nite late.

I'm crossing my fingers for you folks in southeast TX from Beaumont to Houston and Victoria also. That's the corridor where I think snow will possibly coat the ground potentially. At least to see falling snow is a treat for XMAS eve and day.
