I have had it with winter in FL. Second night of freezing temps. This is getting very old. Bring on spring temps here and let me enjoy snowstorms in the NE from the comfort of my tv and computer.

jdray, I hope Jax does "shine" for the Superbowl.

Our freeze was a bust here, thank goodness. And our temps today look like Denver's for the day. Weird.

However, tonite's low is suppose to be 48 and back into the 70's for Wednesday. Feels like a heat wave. Whoo-hoo!

JDray, are you in Keystone?

I am across the river from ya in NW St Johns county on the river and in the heat shadow of Jacksonville, so our low was only 33.

33 in the area sandwiched between the St Johns River and the Beach. (St Johns being 3 miles wide in that area)

The official low that morning at the airport was 23. But I am located on the rivers edge beneath large grandaddy oaks and there is 3 miles of water for the cold NW winds to cross before they get here.

Also, Jacksonville has a heat shadow on its lee side. And I am located in it.

My poinsettas growing outside made it through the freeze no problem. I rarely get a hard freeze here. Havent had one in several years.
