No Snow For The S.E. For March !!!!

Snow aint coming for the rest of this season in the S.E.,latest model runs shows clipper systems to generate snowy conditions from the Mason~Dixon Line northward into the N.E. leaving a snow drought in the lower Middle Atlantic / S.E. for the 2005 season..... also leading to a very hot summer and mild eastern winter next season.....

i thought the whole mid-south had snow around christmas i know dallas fort worth tx, little rock arkansas and memphis tn, all had 3-6 inches even extreme south tx and louisiana saw snow didnt it make it too atlanta and charlotte or was it just cold rain. even houston saw snow their first since 1996 and neworleans saw a trace of snow there first since like 1990 im sure charlotte saw a little even a trace at least if houston and neworleans saw a little snow didnt it make it east? i thought only extreme southern missisippi alabama and georgia saw rain and of course florida saw rain but the majority of the midsouth saw at least a little snow im sure charlotte saw at least a trace im almost positive... check that out..

Raleigh, NC is on the verge of honking for the next system towards the weekend ... a lot of uncertainty ... but in the next 48 hours, an Alberta Clipper is going to dive far into the SE b/c of the passage of the last storm system which brought about a major bout of SVR WX across NC today ...

The trough across the Eastern Seaboard is very deep right now, and is what is displacing the movement of the AC's down south instead of running across the OV...

Bob, winter weather is just like love. When you're least execting it, it sneaks up on you and throws you for a loop.

I wouldn't count things out just yet....you could be surprised. That 7th prediction could be the one that slams you.

No... Dallas, Little Rock, and Memphis didn't see snow on Christmas Eve. Only coastal areas from South Texas to Louisiana did. Up to 10 inches fell between Corpus Christi and Houston. Birmingham and Atlanta were left high and dry.

Technically, we did "see" snow here in DFW on 12/24. It was on the ground and on the rooftops.

oh im sorry it snowedform dec-22-23 not on christmas eve.. lol.. anywayz around that time period it did snow 3-6 inches in the dallas fort worth area in little rock and memphis.In the dallas fort worth metro area the snow fall varied. i live in northern tarrant county around the DFW airport 4 inches were reported like around southlake colleyville grapevine in keller 5 inches were reported in fort worth 3 inches and in southern fort worth southern tarrant around 1-2 inches in dallas county 1-2 inches more like 1 inch in south dallas. up in my lakehouse in sherman just north of dallas it was more like 5-6 inches and in weatherford west of fort worth they got 6 inches. both of those cities are in the dfw area. i cant believe victoria tx got 12 inches and even in brownville in the southern most tip of texas they got 1-2 inches thats weird charlotte birmingham and atlanta didnt get any? ill have to check that. snow in south tx is not that rare sanantonio and austin have seen some big ones it snows more in texas then in the southeast us. though snow in brownsville which has the same latitude as miami florida and snow in 10inches in corpus christi which has the same latitide as orlando florida just shows that the southern plains and the centrel U.S get much colder and wintry in the heart of the winter then the southeast and the east miami rarely gets below 50 and i now orlando has never reported the white stuff....
