Where's Mississippi State Guy (I think that was his handle)?!?
He nailed the 2009 Christmas Eve storm from several days out and was pretty good on a couple of the others too.

He was only one crazy enough to predict 10 inches for us in our record snowstorm last year.

LOL, yes he was...wonder what he would be predicting on this one?

Yes, except I have this bad feeling it'll just be cold rain this time.
Probably 15+ with a nose of it going up to Wichita Falls lol. Awesome guy. His one constant was that every prediction the Falls was in the heaviest zone.

Whats all your reasons that you think this? Is it just that bad GFS run, or did you have other thoughts in particular?
I'm not doubting you I'm just interested in hearing your thoughts
I don't want a cold rain..

Funny thing was that during the Christmas Eve 2009 storm, the Falls was in the heaviest zone.
I also remember he had a few battles with some other guys over that storm...and he nailed it almost to the dotting of the "I" and crossing of the "T".
Even called for it being a full scale blizzard from several days out when no one else was. I remember shaking my head and laughing when the NWS put up Blizzard Warnings for NW Texas, parts of the Red River Valley, and much of Oklahoma during that storm. It was almost like he was the "Wizard" behind the big curtain controlling the screen.
Think he was studying meterology at Mississippi State if I remember correctly.

If it's not, somebody may get clobbered again with some real heavy snow.

So do you think if this does hopefully, continue to possibly, perhapsbe a snowfall event, is there anyone willing to say its hypothetically possible that this could duplicate some of these previous bad snow storm events with some areas getting 8 - 12 inches of snow across north central Texas..?
Thoughts? or am I wacky?

It's certainly possible I would say. Just not likely, but really what is likely right now?
