Look at the radar for Denton county. It is coming down hard outside now. This reminds me of last year if it keeps up at this rate!!!!! Roadways, everything is white!!!!

Remember last night when everyone was ready to jump cliff with that huge precip of rain? Lol.

Lol, I was still secretly hoping for 10 inches then. My real disappointment came at like 6 in the morning when I woke up. It didn't look that great then.

What's so odd, Texarkana is reporting freezing rain at 28, and a cold rain at 32 in shreveport? That's a real concern with those frigid temps over there.

West Frisco, finally changed to all snow around 1140am. Big, fat flakes, starting to stick to the ground.

If they don't changeover and they get all this precip with the temps below freezing that would be a big ice storm.

Great pictures and reports coming in from the group. We are plugging in your data to our system in addition to the ASOS/AWOS data.
Getting a pretty good picture of where the wintry stuff is falling.

Nice little sleet shower here in Tyler. Maybe we'll get a few flakes before the precip ends here.

A look at the forecast we issued to clients at 245am (this morning) for noon today. Compare it to the current radar (we're happy).

Keep the surface reports coming, gang. Y'all are doing a great job!

For those of you who miss out on the winter "fun" today, check out the 12z GFS. It promises more potential in about 10-12 days. Keep the faith!

Most are big fluffy flakes especially the north/western areas. Sometimes you might get a small pocket of light precip pass by.

DFW is reporting 1 mile visibility

Denton 0.75 mile visibility

Dallas 1.75 mile visibility
