Snowing good at DFW now.

Yeah GFS has been on crack. I don't know what's up with it for this storm. Had a few good runs though, but most of the way it was somewhat different than the other globals. 24 hours from event RUC > All

Before everything ends, everyone should get a quick burst.

The only thing that could make this day better is if the Cowboys were playing.....

But I'll take an Eagles loss

A little cold advection from the NE, and vertical motion in the comma, and snow melt aloft cooled the air enough.

Snowing in Corsicana now.

Wonder if it will make it to Madisonville.

About 2" in Sherman/Denison, maybe 3" in places. Was snowing fairly well when the family went into Sherman Bible, was nearly a whiteout when we came out. Roads are snow-packed and icy - saw one car flipped over on the side of the highway.

Snow coming down nicely here in South Tyler. Maybe 0.5 inch so far. Hope it lasts a few more hours.

Heavy snow did not last long. Mainly all sleet here in Texarkana. Where is that 6 to 10 in of snow that was being predicted?

Who would have ever thunk it?

Not me...but I'll take it.

How much longer will it continue to snow? We have upwards of 2-3 inches so far.

Mid level warm air got to Texarkana. It will probably still change over again later today.

Just got back out from in it and it looks like about half an inch here a little more than dusting. Nothing too major but enough to look at and make a few snowballs.

Maybe this is just the appetizer
