Cross polar flow.. one of my fav things to hear!

Remember my comment a couple weeks ago about late January? I didn’t buy the warm phases of the MJO.

This coming spell is cold but I think we see a wild end to Winter. Pop, Block and Lock it!

I see our farm in the low teens south of I10. Dallas is in the icebox.

That's a really cold run. There's no reason to believe this can't be the second coldest period we've seen this century.

GFS continues its trend of colder, and a little faster. What it was doing several days ago, is correcting.

Singles Monday morning on the northern burbs. Highs probably in the teens and low 20s, GFS.

I like the nuance from NWS FTW. Forecast a low of 21 for DFW on Monday but they also have a graphic map on their homepage that shows the probability of single digit lows (probably around 20%). Not going way out on a limb but informing that the forecast could get worse.

21 May be the high if we can even get there with strong CAA. But yeah 1/5 chance at this range is actually quite high given climo.

1059 HP showing in SW Canada on the CMC. Multiple single digits to 0 around North Texas. I know it’s early but y’all better pray we don’t have winter weather associated with cold like that.
