R-Dub... I said upper 40's by Wednesday. Not today. Check my post.
Brennan and W-13... I did NOT say the PNA monitor was crap. I said it was a reflection of the GFS model and its ensembles. If we can see the GFS going haywire then we know the PNA monitor will go haywire as well. They are not independent.
I had thrown out the GFS model that day and therefore had to reject the PNA monitor. I threw out the GFS model that day because it showed a wildly retrograding low pressure and 850 mb of -20C for the following week. That is now this week... and as you can see I was right to throw it out!!!!
Do you guys remember the wild scenarios the GFS was coming up with for this week??? Look at the reality. Boring high pressure and 850mb temperatures warming to +3C by the end of the week. We need to do some verification on these wild scenarios (hold the GFS accountable)... maybe that will calm you guys down when you see this crazy stuff.
I said before... there are times you can just see the GFS lose track of the pattern and it ends up like a car skidding on ice. Going to patterns that are physically impossible.
Today was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. Absolutely loved it. Crisp, clean air and sunshine. Nothing better.

Did you just read the end of my last post????
I loved the weather today. Give me this over dreary rain any day!!
No apologizes to me.
Upper 40's to near 50 tomorrow.
Lower 50's Thursday and Friday.
System this weekend looks similar to the last two weekends. Imagine a rain/snow convergence zone will form. Then another repeat of this pattern next week.
No complaints here. It may be below normal but it still feels like spring!!

Temperatures already plummeting...still one sign that winter's hanging on. Currently 38F with clear, blue skies.
I'm still interested about this wind event for the cascade foothills...latest NWS discussion doesn't mention it...let alone anything else. Whose writing these discussions lately? They stink!
Besides that, everything's on track.

Still 41 degrees there.
Type in 98031 in WeatherBug and click on the Millenium Elementary School Weather Station. You will see that we had a high of 43 F, after a low of 21 F. This school if only 2 miles way from me, if that much.

That would be Covington Elementary. Which I am sure you will tell me is in some hot microclimate that makes it so much warmer!!
Actually I believe your readings as well.
But it was pretty warm in places around Covington today!! And still at 40.8 degrees there.
Those winds are going to be a force to deal with tonight. No calm air yet. Keeps the atmosphere mixed up.
Its 3 degrees warmer at Sea-Tac than last night at this time.
