Re: Texas Winter 2016-2017
Look for a lot of volatility via the various computer schemes as the Hemispheric Pattern changes. AO is tanking, -WPO, -EPO nearing 4 Standard Deviations below normal, -PNA is unusually low and the Stratospheric Polar Vortex is showing extreme lowering heights entering Canada and the Continental US over the next 10 Days...

Re: Texas Winter 2016-2017
I wouldn't even be surprised at all if the next runs of the Euro and the Canadian show a good winter storm for us... Then this would turn into the classic Euro/Canadian VS GFS battle

Yep, trending towards the Euro...if its ENS members follow suit, not a good sign

Yeah. It concerns me that the Euro is the dry model first. I won't lie there. It needs to come in better.

I wouldn't say its garbage, but it is one run, and it looks different in the upper levels. Lets see what the euro says. GFS overall is still not that impressed with the cold air to begin with.
