Back in the day when I was an early teen, spent the night in an old army tent my Grandfather gave me. It bottomed out at 0 F and I woke up to 6 inch ice crystal hanging above me head from breathing out of the mummy sleeping bag I was in. So a little indoor snow won't hurt ya! :P

I looked at the San Angelo reporting station. It went from 44 at 8:51am to 27 at 9:51am.

Seventeen (17) degree-drop in one hour!! :cold: :flag:

This front is no joke.

Very hard to discern although it is getting heavier at the moment.

Yesterday the temp drop in the central plains seemed a lot more drastic than the temp drops today. Yesterday temps were dropping 30-40° in 30 min to an hour. Today it’s more like 15-25° it seems.

Currently sitting at 56° at my Southtown San Antonio office. It felt a bit humid earlier this morning, but I guess the arctic front will shove all that out the way.

It's moderated quite a bit on the way south, little snow cover. Central plains much closer to epicenter of cold too that's been hanging around up there.

Well it modified. No snowcover.

20 degrees is nothing to sneeze at. Well, it might make you sneeze actually.

We have had on and off snow showers for a couple of hours now. They are not showing up on radar but they are quite heavy and near white out but only last for 5 minutes or so. Pretty amazing! That cold air is squeezing out what moisture it can. Not often do you see 12 degrees and snowing sideways at the same time in Texas.

Cold front is south of Waco. Should be knocking on the Austin and College Station areas soon.

Down to 17 IMBY and somehow I’m only supposed to get as cold as 11 tonight? Lol.

I’m betting 8…

Full blown snowstorm here now. Starting to accumulate. Wonder how long it can keep it up?
