That about does it then. It's bound to happen. Luckily the cotton bowl is not outdoors like it used to be in Jerry World now.

I think every Euro run I've waited for has been Dr. No  Sooner or later it has to be different, right?

At least it comes out an hour earlier now vs. during hurricane season :P

Right. But the scar is still there from 14" of modeled Euro fantasy. But hey, better to not be in bullseye 7 days out anyway! Put it up north and trend it south.

just fwiw, the 12z Euro had Dallas hitting 65 next Friday(the warmest day of the entire run)

The GFS went from 54 at 12z to 41 at 18z to snowy and mid 30s at 0z lol

so... I'm not getting my hopes up on a snowy solution. Maybe it'll at least be cold?

Maybe ntxw can attest, but we have a temporary -nao setting up which is pulling the colder air down for next week imo.

definitely cold early in the week.... even the Euro has low/mid 40s for highs Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday with some light rain/drizzle around all 3 days

It didnt warm up til Friday on the 12z

0z Euro raining Thursday morning in the 30s

looks dry Thursday Night/Friday morning with temps around 40

Dry Friday but much colder than previous run with highs in lower/mid 40s

then a warmup next weekend where the GFS dumps the arctic
