Light snow starting to fall in Texarkana. I still haven't seen any of that elusive freezing drizzle, however.

With the strong winds this is reminding me of March 2015. I'll try and see if I can upload a video

Seems kinda like there is a slight push to the south of I-20 with the disturbance. Also either seeing false returns or maybe some flurries trying to develop near San Angelo

Not a bad little snow shower here in Far North Dallas. Here is a short video, if it will play.

(and yes I realize Christmas decorations are still up and that the leaves on the Palms died in the December freeze. The trunks are still alive though.)

Coming from someone who has spent a winter and a half in Ohio, what is falling at my house is rather impressive, not quite as bad as a snow squall, but that NE coming off lakes Grapevine and Lewisville has caused some fairly large snowflakes to occur. Already have a trace of accumulations on roads and slightly more on grass. I'm glad my jacket is a wind breaker.

I have to admit, I'm actually impressed with what's going on here. I had basically no expectations in the metroplex. Maybe I should be like that more often.
